HEIC Converter is a fast & user-friendly solution for converting HEIC images and HEVC videos. The software simplifies file format conversion to JPG/PNG and MP4 with an intuitive interface.
Add individual files or a folder containing HEIC images or HEVC videos.
Choose the desired format for conversion, adjust the quality settings & set the output folder.
Select the images/videos for conversion and click the "Convert" button.
Wait for the conversion process to complete.
The converted files will be saved and exported to the specified output location.

Getting Started / Launch the Application
To convert HEIC images into JPG, PNG, or HEVC to MP4 without losing quality, follow these steps:
1. Press Windows + S and type HEIC Converter.
2. Double-click the most relevant result or click "Open" from the right pane to launch the program from the search results.
Getting Started / Add Folder / Add HEIC Images or HEVC Videos
Besides drag-and-drop, you can add HEIC images or HEVC videos using the "Add Folder" or "Add Files" button.
1. Use any button to add HEIC/HEVC files.
2. Choose the format for converting HEIC images or HEVC videos.
HEVC videos can be converted to MP4 files, whereas HEIC images are converted to JPG format by default. To change it:
Select PNG format > set image quality & the output path, and proceed with the conversion.
Getting Started / Additional Settings
Additional Settings allow you to customize the conversion of HEIC photos/videos. You can choose to keep, skip, or replace the original file. Additionally, you can adjust the thread count for the conversion process.
1. File Overwrite Action
You can choose from options like Keep Both, Replace or Skip to decide whether or not to keep the original HEIC or HEVC file.
2. Max Thread
You can customize file overwrite settings and adjust conversion speed using the slider. Increasing the slider value speeds up the conversion process, but it also increases the utilization of device resources.
Getting Started / Output Path
After selecting the conversion format for your HEIC/HEVC file, you can choose to retain EXIF data and set the output path for saving converted images.
1. Keep EXIF data: If you don’t want anyone to know about the EXIF metadata, like location, device user, etc., uncheck this option before converting the image.
2. Output Path: Saving the converted file to a new location helps distinguish between the original & converted files. To save images/videos to a user-specified location, click ‘Custom directory’. Browse where you want to save the output file and proceed with the conversion.
However, if you want to keep both the HEIC images or HEVC videos in the same location, select the ‘Save to the same directory’ option before converting the image.
Getting Started / Summary
After converting HEIC and HEVC files, you'll receive a summary of the action. It shows the total number of images & videos converted and indicates the number of successes and failures.
